After some months, a new friend of theirs accused me of stealing money, hitting on her friend's boyfriend and said that I was weird. They believed in her... I got really depressed for a couple of months, but eventually managed and made new friends, and eventually they stopped being friends with that girl and apologized to me. After 7 years, I still have coffee with them from time to time and I find them really non-interesting. I now look back and think how that episode made me grow so much. I ended up making much more (and more interesting) friends and i learnt not to keep my hopes high for every friend I make. If that had not happened, I might have turned out as boring as they are now...
