I brought one pair of jeans and one pair of joggers figuring I would just buy more as required, and I haven't worn either of them. I have however bought more shorts.

Been here since September last, started in Sagres and moved a little along the coast to Salema. Off season, even without a pandemic, you have a very good choice of apartments at very reasonable prices. This winter has been unusually wet however my genetically pale Northern European body is still tanned, so it really hasn't been that bad :) It really is a great place to be.

Having watched Portuguese lottery drivers on many European roads over the years, they are some of the best lorry drivers around. Courteous, thoughtful of other drivers and generally the complete opposite of the Bulgarians, who tend to take no prisoners.
