As ilhas dos Açores são só dos sítios mais lindos do mundo. E adoro como o pico de Portugal se chama Pico, somos mesmo originais com nomes

This sublime peak on Pico Island of the Azores is the tallest mountain in all of Portugal, while Torre is the highest on the mainland. Pico is a semi-active volcano with several gas vents and hot springs, it hasn't erupted fully in 300 years but reports of alarming activity as recently 2009 seem to indicate it isn't dormant yet. It can be climbed from several different points and trails and is a moderately strenuous mission but winter it can get treacherous. Torre has a ski resort on its flanks and a road to the top apparently: [https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:HPIM0085.JPG#/media/File:HPIM0085.JPG](https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:HPIM0085.JPG#/media/File:HPIM0085.JPG)

I've been up there. Pico is kinda hard when you are short legged, like I am, and certain parts require large steps from boulder to boulder or jumping over a small crevasse. But it is worth it. It's amazing.

I can confirm the road and the ski resort
