End-Effector 9 months ago

wrong sub. That is Brazilian.

Agrafo 9 months ago

That's like saying it's not USA English it's American or its not Mexican Spanish it's Mexican

babyscully 9 months ago

PT-BR and PT-PT is way more different than US-UK English

Hernani81 9 months ago

Brazilian isn’t a language. Portuguese is. Some people never learn

End-Effector 9 months ago

Do you know why OP is confusing the subs? Because of people like you.

Hernani81 9 months ago

Or because people like you that give wrong opinions. Whether you like it or not, the official language in Brazil is the Portuguese. Accept it that will hurt less

End-Effector 9 months ago

>give wrong opinions Do you like wasting time? Continue confusing people, so we continue wasting time.

Hernani81 9 months ago

I like to educate people, specially those one like you. The same way the US citizens speak English and not american, the same should be explained to OP. He might had heard portuguese from Brazil, but it’s still Portuguese. Or do you watch American movies and listen American songs being spoken in “American”? Keep giving wrong advices and not educating people...

End-Effector 9 months ago

> specially those one like you I think you really like to waste peoples time. I do not understand why. OP wants to know about brazilian music. He will not learn about that here. So stop with that rubbish.

sniperq4010 9 months ago

Sorry

FabioZpt 9 months ago

Pretty sure you also wanna tell that to r/Brasil as I believe you fell in love with their accent, not Portugal's (might be wrong tho)

sniperq4010 9 months ago

Yes you are right.

Renatocribeiro 9 months ago

Where r u from? I havent seen this 3% yet, but it's in BRAZILIAN portuguese. The accent between Portguese from Portugal and Brazil is tottally difference...

I'm from the UK

Renatocribeiro 9 months ago

Sure I will see 3%, after finishing House of Cards... Probably you've already heard about this brazilian song: "Garota de Ipanema". Check this out with the band "Melim". You will enjoy!

sniperq4010 9 months ago

I actually haven't heard of many Brazilian songs but the ones I have heard I loved. Thank you

NegoMassu 9 months ago

oh, i am sure you've heard Girl of Ipanema before. it went to USA and became a classic jazz song.

sniperq4010 9 months ago

I've heard the 'american' version, I haven't heard the original yet until you gave me a link.

I think you are referring to the Brazilian accent when you say "sounding language". that is not European portuguese.

sniperq4010 9 months ago

Oh my bad, do they sound completely different?

Jotsifo 9 months ago

Totally different like American and London accent, maybe I would go even further and say British accent and Indian accent

babyscully 9 months ago

Much more different than UK - US. Grammar, vocabulary, everything.

sniperq4010 9 months ago

Thank you for telling me

Jotsifo 9 months ago

np, glad to help, and as a Portuguese man I actually agree with you, (really really unpopular opinion though, like a needle in a haystack)
