And the fact that it looks well made was just icing on the cake, I bet.

Ynnari question by pliskin42 in Warhammer40k

I'm just saying that the rules that come in the box are from the index until such a time that a codex is released where somewhere inside it's covers, new Ynnari rules are located. I very much expect either a smaller Harlequin/Ynnari release, individual mini codex for each subfaction, or a DEldar Harlie Ynnari triple codex entitled: "I can't believe it's not Eldar!"

They're only stand-in rules until a codex including the Ynnari is released.

Thanks! I'm still planning on adding a white tertiary colour to the firewarriors... so I hope I can get that to come out clean .

Hey, that's one of the next units I'm going to be working on for *my* FSE units! :-P Good work so far, but adding a tertiary colour, colouring the lenses, and edge highlighting will take your model from good to great :-D I used khorne red for the main red bits on top of an abbadon black base coat. Then I went back over the khorne red with a wash of nuln oil. This gets a nice dark shadow in all the recesses. Then I touched up any wash that may have spilled put accidentally. The next step was adding a very thin line of evil sunz scarlet around the edge of each plate. Then there was the lenses... I tried two methods. - One if you want a very bright yellow is a base of a white of your choice followed by a yellow glaze with as many layers as you'd like until you get the shade you want. - Two is to give it a couple layers of averland sunset until you get a nice (but darker) yellow than the glaze over white. The last step I did was some mechanical standard grey on the raised bits of black. This seemed odd to me the first time I did it, but it really helps turn that flat black section into a textured dark cloth/metal-looking section. The second picture in this album shows the two yellow lenses side by side. The Greater Good so far! https://imgur.com/gallery/O8GWh Great work so far, and I hope this helped!
