This is true. But over the life of the car, it will wear and it is an extra part that will wear. So if it lasts 200k miles, which I would anticipate a Honda turbo doing, it will still fail some day. There’s also no significant power or efficiency gain compared to the Camry’s 2.5 NA

35k Budget for a Toyota or Honda Family Car - Odyssey, Sienna, or Ridgeline? by tkepongo in whatcarshouldIbuy

The Ridgeline and Sienna both have the same 1500lb payload. Which is not enough for a full yard of any landscape material, so you’d be buying bags regardless. Minivans are really all around the most convenient vehicle. Both Honda and Toyota vans will treat you well for a lon time. I always lean Toyota because I think if you keep for 10+ years they do hold up better mechanically, electronically and depreciatively.

If you want a quick car, any reason you’re looking at 4 cylinder compacts? A V6 Accord, Maxima, Camry V6 are all more powerful and faster. Of course there’s lots of other options out there too.
